Reflex Game

Players race to tap targets as they light up, with fast reflexes and quick thinking driving the score. It’s simple, genuinely fun, and ridiculously replayable—the kind of game people don’t want to stop playing.

Setup

Please note: This help doc is for setting up the Reflex Game frame, specifically.

See Creating a Simple Experience for guidance on general experience and prize setup.

A new Reflex Game can be created by selecting "Create New" in the top right corner of the top navigation bar and finding the "Reflex Game" experience type.

The main configuration elements for the Reflex Game are:

  1. Gameplay
  2. Score Panel

Gameplay

In the Gameplay section (see screenshot above - right panel), you will find options to add your Background, Container, and Object assets.

In Gameplay, you will also find "Point Text" to style your added points per hit.

Background

Your Background image asset will serve as a "floor" or "frame" for your Container and Object assets.

Container

The Container image asset serves as the "target area" for your Objects to appear in. Think a "hole" for a mole" or a "basket for an apple".

Object

The Object image asset is what will "appear" and "disappear", and will serve as the game object of which your players will try to hit to earn points.

Point Text

Scrolling to the bottom of "Gameplay", you will find "Point Text" where you will be able to style your added points per hit. This is an important "haptic feedback" feature to inform your players that they have performed a successful "hit" and have earned points.

Score Panel

The Score Panel (see screenshot below - right panel) allows you to style your in-game scoreboard as well as set a time limit for your game.

You can edit the Score Panel's background colour, font color, font style, and font size.

"Time Left" is set in seconds with a maximum limit of 300 seconds and a minimum of 5 seconds.

"Time Left" Example: If you would like to set a time period of 3 minutes, please set Time Left to 180 seconds.
